LOG END SEALER BIO-DEGRADABLE is a fully biodegradable white fluid emulsion of water and fatty materials designed to prevent “end checks” in cut or sawn timber.

LOG END SEALER BIO-DEGRADABLE controls the loss of moisture from the ends of sawn timber to acceptable limits, thus preventing excessive “end checking” of timber, particularly while stacking in sawmills.

LOG END SEALER BIO-DEGRADABLE was developed to be stable over a wide range of temperatures, particularly low ambient temperatures.

LOG END SEALER BIO-DEGRADABLE is stable in extended storage. Because the product is not wax based, splitting is not experienced at low ambient temperatures. However, it is always worth a quick stir or shake before use.

Application Rate

1 Litre to 4sq. meters or similar to one “heavy coat of paint”. Do not over apply as product may run off and be wasted. Multiple light coats are better than one heavy one. Works best when a coat is left to dry before adding more.
