RX Limited Slip LS140 is a high performance, EP automotive gear oil specifically designed for limited slip rear drive differentials, particularly those with the “cone clutch” design. This product has special friction modifiers to provide smooth, noise free operation and provide extended life for your differential.

Applications

RX Limited Slip LS140 is recommended for the majority of limited slip hypoid differentials, both plate and cone clutch, in rear wheel drive cars, 4WD vehicles and light trucks, under all operating conditions.

• Quiet shudder free operation: Special friction modifier system provides excellent lubricity characteristics for smooth non-stick / engagement.
• Long gear life: EP additives control tooth wear even under high torque and shock loading conditions. Rust and corrosive additives prevent damage by water entering the system, by condensation or by contamination.
• Extends copper component life: Corrosion inhibition and thermal stability limits the corrosion of bearings and bushes containing copper.

RX Limited Slip LS140 meets or exceeds the requirements of:

• API GL-5
• MIL-L-2105 B/C
