Silky Saws Hayate Parts: Blade Cover

Hayate Parts: Blade Cover is the Hayate blade cover for any of the Hayate pole saw lengths.

This cover will help protect the blade and also provide safety protection for the user of this pole saw.  The Hayate saw blade cover is made from a strong thick plastic. Silky has also used a high visibility colour yellow to make it stand out.

The Hayate blade cover is secured to the Silky pole saw blade with the 3 holes in the sheath.  These holes lock over the 3 screws that hold the blade to the yellow pole fixing the pipe.  To release the Hayate blade cover from the blade you will need to lift the edge of the sheath.  Then you would slide the sheath off the blade.

To secure the Hayate blade cover back onto the blade, you will want to slide it on, the same way you removed it.  Please note that sometimes it can become caught.

To avoid this happening, when you are putting the cover back over your saw watch both sides of the case.  Sometimes the cover can catch on the nuts which are found on the back side of the saw blade.

If you lift the cover over these nuts and watch that it slides of the screws on the other side of the blade you will find it easily slides over and fits securely.
