The Rollclip A comes with or without the Petzl TRIACT-LOCK triple locking system, offering both security and simplicity. The TRIACT-LOCK system allows for quick, secure setups while maintaining safety. The non-locking version is ideal as a directional point for a handled rope clamp during short rope ascents.

The carabiner’s H-profile design improves the strength-to-weight ratio, and its compact shape helps protect field or site markings from abrasion. The sheave is mounted on sealed ball bearings, ensuring smooth and efficient rope movement (85% efficiency). The keylock system prevents any accidental snagging when fixing the pulley in place.

For added versatility, the Rollclip A can be paired with a CAPTIV positioning bar to ensure proper alignment along the carabiner’s major axis, limiting the risk of flipping or inversion.
