Convoy Fleet Gear SAE 140 is a premium, heavy duty, mineral automotive gear oil manufactured with modern extreme pressure additives meeting the requirements of API GL-5, MT-1 and SAE J2360, as well as many other manufacturer specifications.

Application

Convoy Fleet Gear SAE 140 is designed for use in heavy duty final drive and differentials in light and heavy duty commercial vehicles, construction, earthmoving and agricultural equipment where this viscosity grade is required.

It provides a superior level of protection in all conditions including where extreme loads and heavy shock loads are experienced, preventing wear and maintaining the life of critical parts. It is particularly recommended in higher ambient conditions and for trucks either carrying heavy loads or pulling multiple heavily loaded trailers. It can also be used for quietening noisy differentials where the noise is due to wear, thus prolonging the life of the unit before a rebuild is required.

Convoy Fleet Gear SAE 140 is suitable for Hypoid and Limited Slip differentials without the need for an LSD additive.
