Convoy Ultra HD 10W-40 is a highly advanced, synthetic, extended drain, mixed-fleet, ultra high performance diesel (UHPD) oil. It is formulated with the highest standard synthetic base oil and advanced additives to ensure protection against wear, corrosion, oil oxidation and sludge.

It exceeds API (American Petroleum Institute) CK-4 and European ACEA E8/E11 specifications ensuring quality and satisfaction.

Application

Convoy Ultra HD 10W-40 is primarily designed for use in modern 4, 6 & 8 cylinder naturally aspirated and turbocharged four-stroke, low emission, light and heavy duty diesel engines including those with extended drain intervals of up to 100,000+km in accordance with the OEM operating conditions.

Itmay be used where SAE 10W-40 or SAE 15W-40 grade oils are specified by the manufacturer. It can be used where ACEA E7/E8/E11, JASO DH-2 and API CK-4 or where previous API specifications API CJ-4, API CI-4 Plus, API CI-4 or API CH-4 and ACEA E6/E9 were recommended. It is also suitable for use in engines requiring high performance ACEA E4/E6 oils.

Suitable for use in the latest Euro IV and Euro V emissions European diesel engines including those that use SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) emissions systems along with those fitted with or without DPFs (Diesel Particulate Filters). It is also suitable for use in normal or cooled EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) systems. Some of these engines also use Penrite Penblue as a part of their emission control systems.

Approved by Mercedes Benz for MB 228.52, Volvo for VDS-4.5, Mack for EO-S 4.5 and Renault for VI RLD-3 requirements. It can also be can be used in Mercedes Benz light commercial and passenger car diesel engines where MB 228.31 or 228.51 are specified in the owner's handbook. It may also be used where Volvo VDS-5 oils are specified in Euro 6 Step D (D13K5 and D13K6) engines. It is suitable for extended drain intervals with OEM operating conditions and can also be used in other light commercial and passenger vehicles if a full synthetic diesel engine oil is required or specified by the manufacturer.

Vehicles and Fuel Types

Convoy Ultra HD 10W-40 is suitable for light & heavy duty commercial vehicles, passenger cars, 4WDs, construction, mining and agricultural equipment if a full synthetic, SAE 10W-40 diesel engine oil is required or specified by the manufacturer. It is NOT recommended for use in motorcycles.

Please note:

1. Some trucks and heavy vehicles fitted with DPFs may need to use Convoy Ultra HD 5W-30 or Convoy Ultra HD 15W-40 oils. Please check Penrite Lube Recommendation Guide for correct lubricant.
2. Convoy Ultra HD 10W-40 replaces Convoy DLA in Heavy Duty Applications
